Praying is the right way to access or talk to God. It is a right habit practiced by many people and various religions. What matters here is your faith by the time you submit your request. Remember about Bartimaeus in Mark 10: 46-52. Whether you are Christian or Muslim, you may like to thank God for being there for you, ask him for enlightenment or salvation, praise him. Even if you find yourself stuck on how to pray to God, the Holy Spirit will help you directly or through a servant of God, there are some easy things to do to help yourself out.
